Artist Statement My wife and I have been married since 1962. We have two wonderful daughters who have two of the best husbands you could ask for. Along with that we have seven grandchildren. Six of them girls and one great granddaughter. We live in Charlotte, NC and enjoy church (we believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior), travel, camping, golf and of course our family.

We became interested in Heraldry in 1986. We owned a gift shop at Virginia City, Nevada and part of the product line was Heraldry items made by a company in Massachusetts. They had a great variety but the delivery time was six to eight weeks. A lot of the customers felt that if we could offer something that could be produced on the spot that they would enjoy purchasing. This became an on-going quest.

I started reading everything I could get my hands on about Coats-Of-Arms and purchased, from England, 'Illustrations To Rietstap's Armorial General' published in 1903, which is our main reference along with 'Family Name Histories' a very fine resource also from England. We also refer to "A Glossary Of Terms Used In Heraldry" by James Parker, "Encyclopedia of Heraldry or general Armory of England, Scotland and Ireland" by John and John Bernard Burke, "Fairbairn's book of crests of the families of Great Britain and Ireland" by James Fairbairn's, "The Book Of Family Crests" by J.P. Elven and many other fine publications to numerous to mention.

From that time onward I started assembling Coats-Of-Arms on computer. This is still an on-going process. Since there are well over 100,000 Coats-Of-Arms it would take many lifetimes to complete and display them all. We currently do have over 5000 completed Coats-Of-Arms but we find that most requests are of names that have a low frequency. For this reason we do the assembling of Coats-Of-Arms upon request.
