Artist Statement I am an amateur photographer, completely self-taught and inspired by many friends in the photography community, in particular on flickr. I grew up in Nova Scotia, lived in New Bunswick for several years and recently moved to Alberta.

I love music and have been collecting records[many K-Tel] forever, but in the last year, photography has consumed me with more passion than almost anything else in life.

Flowers (especially in macro mode) along with images of Canadian beauty and my cat olivia spaceboots are my favourite subjects to shoot; they bring me a lot of joy which i enjoy sharing with others.

My philosophy in life is that everything happens for a reason.
