Artist Statement Hello, my name is Pete Davies and on this site you will find my oil paintings.

I first attended Eastbourne College of Art School but then life took me to the North Sea and the diving industry.

Last year I decided to paint life in the offshore world before it disappeared forever. You can see examples here.

Since then I have been shortlisted for the following exhibitions:

The Royal Society of Oil Painters

The Columbia Threadneedle Prize

The New English Art Club at the Mall Galleries in London.

Things have gone really well, cards of my paintings are now sold at the Canals and Rivers Trust Museum in Gloucester while my painting, 'In the Potting Shed' is being displayed right now at Fareham Art Open 2016 Exhibition.

Three further paintings of mine will be displayed this year at the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts Open Exhibition 2016 while my North Sea Offshore paintings will be available for sale at the Aberdeen Arts Fair.
