Description This is Manic Depression, aka: Bipolar Disorder. An unpredictable storm of moods that come on and affect every area of your life. It's overwhelming and surrounds you and you feel lost and unable to cope, often paralyzed to do anything as it swirls around you and locks you into a prison in your mind. Sometimes it's triggered by something, other times it just happens. For me it's chaotic and confusing. A classical piece of music was inspired and written by a composer who purchased this piece. I am honored.
Crissy Jackman, Joshua Tree Member Since June 2008 Artist Statement I live in the beautiful high desert village of Joshua Tree California just outside of the Joshua Tree National Park. My passions are fractal art and photography. I also enjoy making my own clothes, jewelry, thrift shopping for repurposing used items into clothing, home furnishings and art. I enjoy the peacefulness of the desert and live life for happiness and enjoyment in all things. My social life usually involves music and friends, lots of laughter and simple good times. I'm very minimalistic, not really into materialistic new fangled things and don't bother myself with the latest newest fads. I have what I need and don't want for much. Simple life and less things makes life simple and makes me happy. Less complicated too. I'm a non political patriot, not partisain fair minded and open minded person who see's many sides of life and issues so I understand more than those with an agenda and party line to follow. I am a free person with nobody pulling my strings and I like it that way. My art is my expression of space, time, dimension, color and emotion and I hope beauty and honesty. I hope you enjoy what you see and see something you like and feel good when you look at it. Let your imagination go and see what you will.
