Description In 1907 Congress passed a law that would re-align the borders of the Pacific Northwestand create a new state called 'Lincoln.' It was a brilliantly conceived plan, but President Cleveland vetoed the bill at the last minute. This piece imagines how a map of Lincoln would have lookedrecreating a beautiful and accurate 1907 feel. It's a great conversation piece--and a reminder of the arbitrary nature of manmade borders.
