Artist Statement The love of art started at an early age and I have been painting since grade school.
Landscape photography started at age 10. Some modest success at art shows by the Association of Hawaii Artists for both paintings and photography where jurors from the University of Hawaii Art Department have honored my work. My most meaningful award was bestowed by a celebrated juror New Zealand impressionist plein air painter Gaston De Vel.
However,as with all artists,our most cherished honor is the acceptance of our art into the hearts and homes of our patrons.
