Artist Statement My earliest memories involve cameras. My grandfather developed the first roll of microfilm and worked for Recordak (Kodak) when it was founded in New York. I believe every room of their house had a camera in it. As kids, my sisters and I were encouraged to be creative, and that has always been a large influence in my life. I started down my "photographers" path in my teens but was sidetracked by college. I have recently found my path again and feel somewhat like Alice through the looking glass, only my journey is through the lens of a camera. I am lucky enough to have found peace within myself and encouragement from family and friends. My grandfather always said that everything is temporary. While that may be true for life's moments; he forgot that an image of that moment can last forever.
