Artist Statement I am a contemporary mixed media artist with over 25 years of art, design and advertising experience.

I am inspired by the world around me, a flower blooming beside the road, an architectural element on the side of a building, unique and colorful advertising signage, anything that inspires me to paint. My design process begins with a specific subject and color pallet in mind. Often I paint a single motif using gauche or acrylic. I scan the pieces I have painted into Photoshop where I digitally modified and merge the motif with previously painted acrylic washes, pastels, rubber stamped images, etc. I also use digital textures and Photoshop brushes.
