Description The fescue seed was plentiful this season....just ready for harvest, and showcased this great old tree in our field beautifully. The tree seemed like an old lone soul out there, and I shot it in all seasons-this was just before a pop up sort of summer storm rolled in. This became especially poignant because it died that winter and we removed it the following spring when it sadly, did not leaf out. This makes the memory of it even more wonderful. If you look closely you can see some evidence in the branching pattern that it was failing.
