Artist Statement I have enjoyed painting for many years. I started out sketching
images in my sketch book and adding color with colored pencil. I had
a dear friend suggested that I turn those sketches into paintings.
The moment I put brush to canvas I was hooked. I now use both
mediums (sketches along with acrylic paint) in a process to create
the images you see displayed here. Many of my works are
dimensional & textured. I have added accent items to bring the
painting to life in a way that paint alone cannot.

I am the sole creator of each of my creations. I use anything that
evokes an emotional response within me for my inspiration. My
paintings are a reflection of my inner world and I love that I can
manifest them into something for others to enjoy.

Each piece is more than just a painting, I put my heart and soul
into each work and I know when I create it that there is someone
who will be drawn to that creation because it speaks to there soul
the same way it was created from mine. It is a sharing of energy
and emotion that is extremely fulfilling and my heart smiles every
time a person connects with one of my creations.
