Jacque Alameddine, New Mexico Member Since April 2008 Artist Statement I am a wife of 46 yrs,a mother of two and grandmother of five... I've been told that I have an eye for composition, and can often be heard shouting "stop the car" when my eye catches an image I need to explore with my camera.Light is very important to my images. Many of my pictures are stories, and I try to eliminate anything that is not relevant to the telling of that story.Although I have been taking pictures all my life I have only recently begun to sell my "stories"
If you are interested in Nature, you are sure to find an image of interest in my many landscapes, seascapes, skyscapes, scenics and vistas.I have been fortunate to have traveled extensively and plan to continue to add images from future world adventures.
More recently I have dabbled in abstract and impressionistic photography. I enjoy taking old images that are, in my opinion, just average, and creating a whole new mood and vision.
The sunsets and sunrises in my Glorious galleries are inspirational. Some of the images in my Wetlands gallery have been described as Monet-like.Waves and Clouds are fascinating subjects to my eye, and offer endless possibilities.Images of the Moon are mysterious.
I have several animal, bird, and flower galleries. Every photo would make a lovely greeting card or wall art.
If you would like text or verse added to any of my images, please contact me with your suggestions.
I look forward to all comments and critiques. So take off your shoes and relax while you travel with me through my galleries. I hope you enjoy the journey, and that you will take a few minutes to explore the world through my mind's eye.If you purchase an image of mine I would love to hear from you, as I would really like to know where my stories are going. Please take a moment to email me. Thank you so much.
