Artist Statement I first discovered my love of photography while taking a black & white photography class in 1993 at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, New York. It was love at first sight. Since that time photography has been a strong hobby of mine. After moving to North Carolina in 1995 I stayed involved in photography while studying at NC State University by working at the student newspaper, The Technician. I have been assisting a local wedding photographer for the past three years and have been a professional photographer for six years. Flexibility is my motto as I am open to photographing many types of situations, including weddings, portraits, and commercial photography. In March 2007, I became a Chix in Business member.
