Artist Statement Born in Rennselear Indiana and currentlyreside in Hobart, Ind. My first job
while attending the Art Institute of Chicago was storyboarding a American
International Pictures film shot in Chicago called "Cooley High". I graduated from
the Art Institute of Chicago in 1961. I worked for different Ad Agencies in Chicago
before joining Leo Burnett Ad Agency in 1963. I worked for Leo Burnett for 20
years as an Excutive Art Director. After leaving Burnett I started working free
lance doing storyboards, animatics and animation for such companies as Disney,
Kellogg's, Keebler, Betty Crocker, Nestles and Pillsbury to name a few.

I designed the Dig'em Frog for Kellogg's cereal called Honey Smacks while
working for Leo Burnett. I am currently painting full time. I had my first Gallery
showing in the summer of 07 for Constance Petter Gallery in Douglas Michigan.

In the winter and if the snow is just right I sculpt snow sculptures 6 8 9 feet tall
and in full color, which have been picked up by the AP and shown all over the
States. My latest work was of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, King Kong
and Spiderman which were 9 feet and 6 feet tall.

I am currently working in Acrylics and Pastels. My paints are large. They are
4' X 6' and 4' X 5'. After working with animation for years on small formats, working large gives me more freedom. I tend to favor whimsical and fun
paintings. My passion is all styles. The Masters are my favorite paintings.
The Impressionlists have always inspired me.
