Description The California earthquake of April 18, 1906 ranks as one of the most significant earthquakes of all time. I have taken an original photograph of buildings in San Francisco after the quake and digitally had fun with it. After playing in Photoshop for awhile this is my rendition of what the people living the nitemare may have been feeling. This image as shown is quite popular among friends and family and is displayed locally in a few business here. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Artist Statement My true love is photography, since I can remember I have held a camera and or been in a darkroom developing. Around 10 years ago I began collecting antique images and have built quite a library of them. I know that many people find an album or box of photos in Gramma's attic and they are more than likely to throw them away since they "don't know these people" or that place. I on the other hand get a thrill digging through those boxes.

I am sure there are many others out here like me. Since finding *Imagekind I decided that I'd like to share a bit of my collection with those who also share this love. I purchased an awesome scanner, 4800 x 9600 dpi resolution, which gives me a wonderful printable file from both images and negatives. I also have a large collection of glass and large format negatives.
