Description Famous scene from the film adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining, of Jack and Wendy Torrance.Decided to play around with a wider range of contrast, as well as different blending techniques.Actually started this a few months ago, but the sketch disappointed me so I kinda put it aside till now. reworked the sketch a bit, and finished it.Both characters are slightly stylized, and that was the effect I was aiming for. This is also the first drawing I've done since I started portraiture that involves two subjects, and a relatively detailed background :)hb, 2b, 3b, and 5b pencils.blending stumps, tissueHope you like it!
James Trujillo Member Since September 2010 Artist Statement I have always loved to be able to express my creative side, whether it be through traditional art, photography, or digital art. My favourite has always been the traditional pencil and paper, and continues to dominate most of my creative time. However I do enjoy photography, and try to capture anything interesting I find throughout my life and travels.
I love to try new things and work on pieces which I might not have thought of myself, so I am almost always willing to take custom work. When I do custom artwork, it is never sold to anyone else, ever.
