Imagekind Summer Games
Imagekind Summer Games - Can your art stand up to the challenge?
The athletes in the Summer Games may have the athletic ability to win gold, but do you have the imagination and skill it takes to win the Imagekind Summer Games?
Over the next two weeks three events will be held to test the creative endurance of the Imagekind Community. Submit your own work or nominate another’s art to compete in each of our different events (themes). Winners will be announced on August 22nd.
Themes are purposely abstract and you are free to interpret what each theme means to you, just make sure we can understand why it fits by offering a brief description of the work when you share it with us.
Plus, just by entering the competition your image is eligible to be featured in our soon-to-be-released Sample Kit.
Prizes:
A gold, silver and bronze medal will be awarded for each event. All Winners will be featured on our homepage, in an upcoming email newsletter and will win other great prizes! Gold medalists will each get a $50 gift card, plus the glory of being crowned best of Imagekind. In addition to being featured on the homepage, Silver and Bronze winners will receive a small print of their work.
Imagekind Summer Games
Get your creative juices flowing, because here are the 3 different events inspired by the Olympic Summer Games in Beijing:
Unity - Coming together for a common cause drives athletes (ok and a little competition) as well as our everyday activities. What do you visualize when you think of Unity? Send us your work that best shows what Unity means!
Pushing the Limits - Some parts of the competition are about pushing through the pain. Show us an image that shows the grit of competition or of life and pushing through it to get the result you want.
Speed - Is it better to dash to the finish line, or does slow and steady win the race? Whether it’s your technique or the subject of your piece, the timing is everything.
