Artist Statement Brian D. Payne is a full time artist whose life long love of art has
brought him to realize his dream of being a professional artist. A
graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Brian is currently
freelancing his talents in both the commercial art and fine art fields.
Watercolor and water based media are his specialty as he combines a
love of nature, sometimes humor, and always an expressive style to
incorporate into his unique art. Landscapes, floral, wildlife, and
children are just some of the subject matter he enjoys to paint while
he admits that it is hard to categorize him into any one. From his
home based studio in Girard, PA, this life long resident of Northwest
Pennsylvania is constantly inspired by the world around him. Through
his art, Brian welcomes the viewer into his world and invites them to
explore the next inspiration just around the corner.
Brian welcomes any freelance or commissioned work in addition to
what he currently has on display in galleries, gift shops and shows
