Artist Statement I am a London based abstract artist and produce a wide variety of work both in oils and pastels. My art focuses very strongly on the vibrant, expressive use of colour and consists of representative imagery ranging from abstract to figurative. I am particularly concerned with the visual interpretation of sound and as a keen listener of a wide variety of music I am influenced by many pieces which evoke specific shapes and colours in my mind. I therefore use my own emotional responses to music as a source of inspiration for the colour and spontaneous line flow which is a major feature throughout my work.
