Artist Statement The Folk Art painter, Paul Little works from his restored 1925 Arts & Crafts bungalow in the Eastern North Carolina town of Wilson. He resides there with his wife, Beth, and two children, Caitlin and Kessler as well as an overweight (fat) Shar Pei named Roxanne.

Sometimes whimsical, sometimes paying homage to the Folk Art painters of yesteryear, Paul draws his inspiration from his childhood, his love of antiques and his love of color. His subjects vary as the inspiration strikes him. Landscapes, faces, colorful abstracts all seem to forge their way to the palette at unexpected but always beautiful times.
