About the Artist
My first memory of a camera occurred when I was five years old. I dropped — and subsequently broke — my mother's Kodak 110 camera. The roll of film remained intact and the completed photos revealed a shot of my face, registering the terror of what I had just done. The shutter had opened when the camera hit the concrete, perfectly capturing a fleeting moment of confusion and fear frozen on film.
