Artist Statement Saul was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico in 1964. He has lived in the US, Italy and Mexico..

He started taking art photos at the age of 14 when he got a K1000 for his birthday. He has been an avid amateur since then and loves to take photos of just about anything that crosses his life path.

His two kids have given him ample opportunity to capture some special images. His extensive travels throughout Mexico are another source that stimulates his photographic imagination. After 12 years in Monterrey, Mexico, Saul moved to San Antonio, Texas, USA in 2004.
