Artist Statement I was born and raised on the metropolitan island of Tenerife to German parents and received a British education here. Thanks to this I can speak 5 languages, English German and Spanish FLUENTLY without an accent and am pretty damn proficient at Italian and French.

My interest for photography started at an early age, i was instantly fascinated about how the view from a viewfinder could be captured, expressing creativity and being able to portray what i saw to the rest of the world. Unfortunately equipment came at a cost i couldnt afford so my photography was very limited. I was particularly interested in the panoramic APS film format. Eventually digital budged in and became affordable. My first DSLR was a Nikon D80. I am well-versed in Adobe photoshop and Lightroom and particularly enjoy working with Lightroom. I think its by far the most innovative and complete software package of the decade! Im particularly interested in Black & white photography and Lomography. I currently own the revolutionary Nikon D300 which is an absolute gem!

I have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) which means my life is a bit chaotic & disorganised at times. I have tons of grey hair growing on my head despite my age! Sometimes i feel lost in a generation of "dont know what to do in Life". On the other hand Im very open-minded, multicultural and described as as an honourable and loyal person. Im always very Helpful, caring and value my friendships a lot. Sometimes i can be a bit shy and quiet. I really hate it when people are shallow and talk sh!t. They get caught out straight away!

At the tender age of 14 I flew on my own in a plane having attended a Glider pilot course in Germany. I attended the glider course many years after and clocked some 200+ lights on my own. I even passed a 5hrs non-stop flying test. My father was a WW2 messerschmidt pilot who survived being shot down over Africa. He passed away when he was 80, im extremely proud of him. After University in Plymouth, UK I had to do my Military service in summer 2002 in Germany (A unknown country to me at the time) for 9 months. I lived with only a suitcase under my bed and it was by far the most rewarding experience of my life ever. It helped me build my character tremendously and find out more about myself and the country from which my forefathers are from.

Im currently with the voluntary firefighters of Adeje, its very professional work, interesting and very rewarding. I dont get paid 1 cent! For a living im working full-time for a satellite TV company in Las Americas.
