Jason Grigsby, Chicago Member Since May 2010 Artist Statement I started taking a lot of photos in 2007, when I became a high rise window washer. The spectacular views from all over the city gave me an opportunity to share a different view of Chicago, that many people never see.
I do take a lot of landscape photos, however I also enjoy music venues and sporting events. I have done some work for a couple bands and often you can find me at a lot of different music festivals throughout the city.
I don't have formal training, I go with trial and error, until I get the results that I want. I have learned that it is always best to take a camera with you and not take any pictures, then to leave it at home an miss an amazing shot.
My goal is to continue to grow and develop my skills and in photography and have a career in doing what I love the most. Works of interest are sports, documentary work, and journalism,
