Artist Statement Tom has been a professional photographer for over thirty-five years since he started his first photography business when he was fifteen years old. First, he sold his images at art fairs and galleries while also shooting portraits and weddings. Later, Tom owned a resort photography business with fifty employees in the mountain town of Steamboat, Colorado. His photographs have been widely published in books, calendars and magazines.

For the past nine years, Tom has been a middle school English as a Second Language teacher in New York City. He plans to start a part time business in the near future combining his passion for photography, travel and teaching.

Tom currently specializes in urban, travel and landscape photography. He lives across the Hudson River from New York City making the Big Apple a frequent photography destination. This past summer, Tom traveled to Europe to shoot the Camargue wild white horses, London, Paris and Provence.
