Artist Statement I'm just a girl in love with the sound of the shutter.

I'm currently a senior at the University of Cincinnati. I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, as I am a journalism major, with a minor in both Spanish and public relations. My studies are focused around news writing and photojournalism, and after graduation I plan to pursue a career in the sports industry.

Sports are not just a career, but a passion for me, as well as photography. I want to bring the emotion of a game, of a moment, to each and every fan. I'd love to bring to you the excitement of a walk-off win, to feel as though you're in the crowd cheering, to feel the tension as a fight breaks out on the ice, and the anticipation of a game-winning touchdown pass. I want to be able to personify through my photos what it's like to experience what I am feeling, through a lens.

Although I delve into other realms of photography, sports may be what I know best and love to shoot. No matter the subject, I solely want to make the viewer truly feel something.
