Artist Statement Nick grew up overseas, following his family on USAID projects throughout Africa. After coming home and spending several years in the lovely, if not-at-all exotic, eastern Washington area, Nick started to realize he had very few photos of any of the truly exciting and wonderful things he'd seen. By the time he got to Washington, DC, he realized he also needed a hobby, preferably one requiring no hand-eye coordination, sense of fashion, or other people. Now, when he's not in his office practicing some kind of law or another, he's out with his trusty (and still relatively cheap) camera. He recently splurged for a new lens, so get for some incredible new shots! Or, at least, some shots that were taken from slightly farther away.
