Artist Statement Photography is my passion, from early on in my life my father gave me his Kodak,
The Instamatic 500. I put quite a few shutter clicks on that camera and later in high School I got myself a Ricoh 35mm, that camera was glued to me.
It was during college that I stepped away for quite some time, I dont know why, but I sold off the equipment to a friend and it wasnt until about 6 years ago I took my wifes Canon Rebel out and started to shoot with it... Shortly after I hooked up with a friend from flickr who introduced me to light painting. I was very fortunate to have a very creative and talented person like him to work with.
I slowly started to move toward a style of photography and subjects. I have always been interested in trains, abandoned buildings and industrial subjects so, I began to spend the time shooting what I loved.
I don't limit myself to just one style though and I do enjoy nature and landscapes, the details and natural beauty are bring an element of peace to me while shooting them.
I thank you for coming to look at my works and I hope you enjoy what you see. I am working to refine what I have available for purchase and no matter how many times a work is purchased, It is always rewarding knowing someone will be admiring my work in their home or office.
If there is anything, specifically, which you are looking for, I would encourage you to email me and let me know, I have 1000s of photos which are not online as of yet. Also, if you find you would like more photos from a specific location to make a set, again, contact me and I can put together a set of images.
Lastly, I have had had a number of people contact me to shoot something that they find or would like to capture for keepsake. I would love to help you, just contact me and we can talk about what you are envisioning.
Again, I thank you for coming to see my work and I would love to hear from you.
