Description ink on watercolor paper. This broken landscape is derrived from the many road trips I take to Los Angeles from Phoenix. The miles of fences and farmlands provide a rhythm to the vast space which is interrupted only by the occasional trees or filling stations.
My passions motivate my life and I try to do something I love every day. Creativity is inherent in my personality and a crucial part of my identity. Since first exhibiting in 1999, I have had numerous shows in the Phoenix area and, over the last couple of years, made my way into the Los Angeles area. Current work is on display at Pita Jungle at Arcadia in Phoenix and Dr. Tattoff corporate headquarters in Beverly Hills which is scheduled to be featured on E Network's Dr. 90210 this summer.
About the artwork:
Mine is an attempt to communicate with the viewer by visually representing my mental landscape by revealing and concealing ideas and imagery much like a Japanese garden. I believe in using the cycle of creation and destruction to create images that convey my interpretation of the physical and psychological elements of the world around me. The work becomes a document of the evolutionary process of which it was created organizing elements of immagery with absract textures and colors.
