Located in Tuscany, near Sienna Italy, this 11th century village is centrally located in wine country and a little known destination of authentic cuisine, culture and art . Taken in 2009.

Artist Statement Bret Frk is a photographer living in the River Arts District of Asheville, North Carolina.

Capturing the people who shape my life, issues which are important to me and places that stir my soul are reoccurring themes in my work. Images which evoke emotion and bring awareness through varying perspective is what inspires me as an artist.

Recently travels to Italy, Patagonia and Maine and my work as a land conservationist in the Southeast are featured in recent collections. My work has been featured in magazine editorials, web and print marketing, for personal commissions and for sale as fine art prints.
