Description AstoriaMegler Bridge viewed from the Astoria Column as a hazy fog rolling in from the pacific ocean obscures the horizon in lavender tones. The Columbia river appears almost pastel pink, flowing under the cantilever truss bridge and beyond the sand bars. Almost surreal golden tones make the buildings in this bustling Oregon coastal town glow in the sunlight and stand out from the dark green pacific northwest conifers.Photo by J. H.
