Description The trumpet calls, to carry them away. This is a tribute to fallen soldiers, and to those who carry on. Yet it is also my hope, as with every war, that we are not just giving our young lives away for a song.Part of a triptych with: 'The Trumpet Calls'and 'To Carry Them Away'This image has been modified from the original Indian ink drawing. It is now solid black, so that my original penmanship is no longer visible. This image can also be viewed with a bevel, which gives it added depth. Grin and Grit 2009
