Description One of my favorites, Emergence shows the hand of Christ moving the stone from His grave. I always imagined that early on Easter morning, before the sun had risen, an overwhelming light came from inside the tomb that held Jesus for 3 days after His crucifixion and the resurrection Savior walked out of the light and the grave. The painting shows the instant before the light overwhelmed the darkness. That large stone stood no chance against Jesus hand and, no doubt, moved clear on the gravesites entrance in an instant. I also like the way the title sounds so close to the word emergency. Original Painting is acrylic on 48 X 24 stretched canvas.
