Artist Statement My beginnings in photography were only a hobby, until I started to working with a camera company in 2008. Every day was a new challenge for me, how many thing to learn, techniques, cameras, lenses, speed, sensors, I was over warm with all that information.
I never liked to talk without basis, let alone instruct without a base, so in my free time I began to study more thoroughly what is photography, composition, lighting, etc, so I can know how to express myself when I have on the phone photographers with more than 30 years of experience asking me question.
The hobby was fast becoming harder and harder, until the passion for this art was wrapping me every day.
My first picture was with a point and shoot camera, after that started to use a DSLR cmera and the change was complete, but it was not until October 2008 when I attended a convention of Nikon in New York where they had an exhibition of several photographers and said "I do not know when, I do not know how, but one of this day's some of my pictures will be hung there. "
Each day was a different challenge, I joined a photography group which went out every weekend to the mountains, beaches, forests, anywhere in the Dominican Republic where we could capture an image. This made me more and more perfection to the point that now I am a full time for weddings, party's any events.
When I have the chance I still go out with my group to take all kind of pictueres son I can still practice and learning about it.
I've received awards locally and internationally my images have been in England, some of them have been considered for the cover of National Geographic magazine.
I have a degree in marketing because this should be so, Chef for the pleasure of a good dish to serve and share with good friends, confectioners sugar for having the skin. Photography, by illusion, no! by PURE PASSION!. Dreamer, because the day that i quit and will not be here.
