Artist Statement Erin is an artistic individual in many different areas such as drawing, pastels, watercolors, metals and jewelry, photography, and painting. Amongst them all, photography is her favorite. Photography has been a hobby of hers ever since she was a little girl—always wanting to take the pictures, even at six years of age Erin insisted on taking pictures of her family in Disney World rather than be in them. Through high school she took many different art courses but it wasn’t until her print shop teacher let her work in the dark room that she figured out she had an amazing eye for photography.

Erins work ranges from landscapes to portraits. There is no category or exact genre she fits into. Her work reflects a lot of her personal emotion and personal taste during the time she creates her photography—even her other mediums reflect the same. Its what keeps her from falling into a rut, so to speak, in the art world.

Erin is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, has managed many corporate portrait studios in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and hopes to one day have a studio to call her very own preferably out of her home. She also has shot many weddings/events, engagement sessions, and family sessions for friends and family, you can check these out at her web site: http://ikolorphotography.zenfolio.com

Please stop by her gallery and check out her work on Image Kind (http://I-Kolor.Imagekind.com) and also at her personal web site. Feel free to leave comment and let her know what you think about her work. Thanks!
