Description This current print is the motorcycle that was used during World War II by the United States military. They also made a variant for the allies. It was based on the civilian model WL. It had a 45 cubic inch engine. Production stopped after the war, but would be brought back for a short time during the Korean War.Most WLAs would be sold after the war as surplus and changed for civilian use. Do to their low cost, durability, and ease of modifications, this was a very desirable bike in its time and even now.
