Description This was taken in June 2009 during a trip to Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine. We were staying at a cabin down the road from this location in Seal Cove, Maine. I passed this scene a couple times before stopping very early one morning after going up to the top of Cadillac Mountain for the sunrise. I loved the feel of the scene when I saw it out the window before I even stopped to photograph it. It's one of my favorite images from this trip.
Courtenay Gregory Member Since July 2009 Artist Statement I'm an amateur photographer from Ohio who loves taking great photos and sharing them with other people.
I love to travel and believe that my love of both photography and travel started at an early age. My family went on many vacations during the years that I was growing up and both my parents and my brothers and I always had cameras on hand. My father, with his Minolta 35mm SLR, would shoot excellent photos and still does today.
My current passion for photography started while I was in college at The Ohio State University but didn't really get moving and become serious until after I graduated and bought my first digital camera. Since 2001, I've been shooting digital and trying to constantly improve my abilities.
