Photographs that try to convey Nature"s Beauty. Many of these are from the US Southwest. The rock formations, canyons and high desert landscapes there are magical, particularly when low angle light makes the colorful rock glow. Other photos here are from the Pacific Northwest, where I have lived for several years. There it is the vast beautiful wilderness areas of the Cascades mountains that I love with their dark forests, blue lakes and enormous glaciers. Some photos are from the Alps and from the Elbsandsteingebirge near Dresden, Germany, where I live currently. The Sandstone formations there likewise offer great photographic opportunities.
