Description Machu Picchu is a pre-Columbian 15th-century Inca city situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, 80 kilometers of Cuzco and through which the Urubamba River flows. Often referred to as the 'Lost City of the Incas', it is perhaps the most familiar icon of the Inca World. In my 'Wonders of the World' collection I am not considering just the 7 ancient wonders, I painted all those amazing constructions, images, places and creations that 'LANDMARK' our globe.
