Having grown up in the country in Ky. I was exposed to the farm life which was all around me. Even though I was not a farmer myself I used to help them in my younger years for spending money. Maybe it is a romantic notion I have of these younger years but I see a way of life and a type of person disappearing that I am not sure we will ever be able to replace. Some of the other things I enjoy shooting are just off shoots of my love of barns. The old cars, trucks and houses are all different venues that came about on my journeys out looking for barns. The river and urban shots are just experiments , something to get me out of my comfort zone and try something different. I also love looking at other people work as it constantly gives me inspiration and ideas to enjoy my wonderful hobby. Thanks for looking. BILL
