My first camera was a box camera I bought with my own money ($3) at age 10. It was years later that I bought my first "serious" camera, a 35mm Pentax SLR. I have now studied photography as an MFA student at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY: B&W film photography, darkroom practices, Alternative Methods, photo history, photo criticism, large-format, and pinhole photography.
