I recently moved to Fort Myers after losing my home in Cape Coral. Although it was devastating, painting has kept me well balanced and hopeful. Pouring ones soul out on canvas, no matter how well you can express yourself, is like taking life saving medicine. I started painting many years ago and then gave it up to rear my children. When I start a canvas, I become obsessed with it and nothing but painting and trying to get my hand to do what my heart is telling it to do, is important to me. Upon finishing a painting there is such a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. It makes no difference to me if it looks like a child did it or an artist did it. Just know that all my painting come from my heart.
