Description Since Tahoe is a big bowl surrounded by mountains, sunset progress very quickly (and very early). Taken in December 12, 2007 from North Lake Tahoe. This is a 10 shot panoramic but it has been cropped down to approximately 7 shots worth.

Artist Statement I'm an IT manager by day, and a photographer by night (or the reverse, depending on what sort of pictures I want to take). I enjoy tinkering with photography and the pictures I take to see what turns out. On a few occasions when my Photography crosses with other interest (like say Aircraft) I've been known to take thousands of pictures in a single day.



My photographic work tends to be things I see in real life, without posing or elaborate setups (translation: I don't have the patience to wait for hours for a sunrise). While I really pride my work on being "what people see", I tend to shy away from shooting people. Maybe it is just because I prefer my solitude.
