Description The Roman Colosseum is the most famous monument to have survived from the classical world. It was built nearly two thousand years ago for the purpose of hosting violent gladiator games. Thousands of men and animals fought for their lives in the sandy arena. This was for a commission.
Teresa Dominici, Carlsbad Member Since February 2017 Artist Statement My paintings are inspired by my love and the beauty of the landscape around the world. Through my travels I visited so many incredibly beautiful places and if I can capture those moments where I was, and make a lasting impression on canvas, then I have succeed in sharing an amazing thing.
I was born and part of my childhood lived in East Africa and in Italy where I traveled extensively within both countries. I currently live in the beautiful San Diego, California.
