Artist Statement Digital photography has allowed me to combine my 2 greatest passions....travel and photography. Without the constraints of film, I can take an excess of pictures while traveling. Upon my return home, I spend countless days and hours sorting, sifting and editing the thousands of pictures I took. It gives me great joy to do this, as I relive the moments captured in each photograph. I strive to turn an ordinary image into a well composed shot. I believe it is very revealing to see what images a travel photographer captures...it's a record of what that particular person took notice of in a new environment.
