Artist Statement I am a two year breast cancer survivor whoo hoo! Like many survivors, being faced with your own mortality has changed my life. My senses are attuned to the magnificent display of wonders all around me. The Lord has given me new eyes to see the beauty of His creation like I never did before. Capturing these images with my camera has become a passion.

After my 6 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy and 38 sessions of radiation, the real healing began. Unfortunatly, that is when I also lost my job of eleven years. Although this has been a financial strain on me and my family, it has given me the opportunity to focus on my photography.
