Artist Statement Freelance Photographer with over 30 years experience.

As a husband and father of three teenage boys my time has been spent primarily family and work. My goal is to re-enter the world of photography and hopefully inspire Future Generations with the images I capture.

I began photographing back in the days of silver halide film and have been overwhelmed by the advancement of digital media.
My goal is to blend old school talent with today's technology and hopefully help others appreciate the art of photography. It takes more than being able to "edit" pictures after the moment has passed. One needs to be able to capture the splendor as it occurs. Use the technology to enhance, but never to replace proper composition and the use of angles and lighting.
The work presented in these galleries are shot with the mindset of using film.
Similar to the carpenter's motto of "measure twice-cut once", I prefer to "compose properly - edit less".
These images are meant to invoke thought, spark memories, and perhaps motivate. Enjoy
