Artist Statement I have been long thinking about what it is I am truly passionate about. That would be taking photos. Since I was a little girl without my mama around I would beg for my grandmother to let me dig in her octagon curio cabinet of photos. I would sit there and study photo's until I instilled that image with luminous radiation in my memory forever. I lived in those photo's dreamed in those photos cried to those photos laughed at those photos and later in life I proudly stored those photo's in a album all of my own to cherish and look back on and experience all the sequence of emotion they all bring. Photos are ever so important to me. They tell stories. They will create dreams. They will indulge your imagination. They make emotion. Photos are very powerful. I as a little girl understood the power of worthy to have the photos of my long lost mother and long lost father and childhood. I understand with photo's the love and happiness of memories that later came in my life. A photo of my mother is all I have of her to know. That is pretty powerful piece of paper if you ask me. I want to create many of those papers for other's one day. But for now I want to create the sights I see daily to shoot. I love taking my family photo's. But I have lots of personal photos, too. I am channeling my aura and know that no matter what life comes of me; I enjoy and will always take too many photos.
