Description This is from a series of photographs I took of this lovely young magical ballerina who had studied at the National Ballet School here in Toronto, Ontario Canada. She was to me the epitome of beauty and innocence and I really tried to capture that by catching her in somewhat private pensive moments as the morning light gently and softly fell over her.

Artist Statement For me photography is the perfect medium to express the spiritual beauty that I sense in all things….nature, animals (I love animals for their purity and innocence), people and just life…

But I love photography even more now since switiching to digital photography in the last two years.

Actually…I’ve always loved photography but my background (way back when!:>) is that old school photography (film and dark rooms- I always kept getting specks of dust on my prints-it was infuriating!!).

As a matter of fact I’m still learning all about digital cameras and Photoshop and what they can do! But learning about digital technology has made me want to take photographs even more and express this spiritual awe and wonder I see in all things everyday…
