Artist Statement Alfred AGOVI EWUSI
Currently living in East london,Eastern cape,South Africa but Born in November 8,1991 in Cape coast one of the major cities in Ghana ,being the former capital of Ghana and also a city known for tourism ,arts and culture. Alfred Agovi Eshun Ewusi is a genius in the field of art and also has a passion for the work he does. he had his High School education at Ghana National college in Ghana from the period 2006 to2009.he is currently an undergraduate student at the Institute of professional studies , Legon ,Ghana and has been working as an artist till date of which he gives full time devotion and works with other artists under the trade name big brain art and designs. His paintings crossover from abstracts, still life, native African paintings and landscapes and so on. He is a talented artist with ingenuity. Alfred gains inspiration from his dad F.S.Ewusi Sr and his brother Francis Stanley Ewusi JR who IS also an artist, and great artists like Da Vinci, Cezanne, Van Gogh and other African renowned artists namely Ablade Glover, Kofi Antubam and Delaquis. His works reflect and depict contemporary African Art and modernism too and he therefore thinks his works should cross boarders to promote native African contemporary and modern art.
