Description This little moth reminds me of an American B-2 stealth bomber, with its swept back delta wings and pointed snout (I know moths don't really have snouts). I wonder what evolutionary significance that has... do the same principles that let B-2s fly under the radar keep this guy hidden from hungry bats?
Elias M, Boston, Massachusetts Member Since February 2008 Artist Statement I am a world traveler and amateur photographer. I am showcasing my images from a recent 4 month journey through Ecuador during which I was engaged in volunteer work. My gallery contains images from the coastal rainforest, the cloud forest in the foothills of the Andes, and the rugged paramo high in the mountains. Most of my work engages small animals and plants as subject material, but I also have a number of landscapes and other subjects. If I get a favorable response for this gallery, there are alot more images to come!
